Join Friends of the Lott House to mark the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Long Island — the first major engagement after the Declaration of Independence, fought right here in Brooklyn. Before the fighting began, British forces marched, camped, and moved through South Brooklyn, with the historic Lott Farm among the nearby sites.
