This is the oldest portion of the house. It features 6 foot ceilings, the main room is 10 to 12 feet in width, exhibits wainscotting and 8 over 8 windows.
This section of the house was originally built by Johannes Lott, grandfather of Hendrick I Lott. It is believed, according to family oral history, that this house was moved near its present location during the Revolutionary War. Its original construction date is circa 1719.
