Kitchen

This lean-to section of the house appears to have been added after the main construction period of the house (circa  1800).  This is supported by the fact that the lean-to does not rest on a foundation as the rest of the house does.   It displays 19th century wainscotting on the walls and ceilings and the floor is laid with 1930s tiles.

As with the rest of the house the electrical fixtures were added around the turn of the 20th century. The sinks were installed in the 1930s when water service was installed in southern Brooklyn.
