The Hendrick I. Lott Homestead Restoration Project

Recently the first phase of the Lott House restoration was completed.
With the exterior restoration complete a landscape project wil begin shortly.

The Lott House circa 1909 from Dismas' Historic Homesteads of Kings County
The Lott House is a New York City and New York State Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Purchased by the Lott family in 1719, the house and property were sold by theLott family to the City of New York in 2002.

The Lott House Restoration Project is being undertaken through a public - private partnership between the Hendrick I. Lott House Preservation Association (HILHPA) and The Historic House Trust of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Since the start of the project in 1996 the City of New York has purchased the house and planning is underway to begin an exterior restoration of the Lott House. The ultimate goal is to open the house to the public with an educational program and research facility.

The Lott House is located in the Marine Park section of Brooklyn, New York.
